This is an ongoing sagga relating to the "make over" I am doing on my very overgrown yard. I plan to change it from an ugly, useless midden to a beautiful, tranquil space that supplies me with fresh organic fruits and vegetables, as well as flowers.

I have lots of these beautiful little blue flowers, Alice. So wonderfully bright and cheery. They are an easy bulb to grow and multiply rapidly. In New Zealand they're known as "Matchsticks" or "Grape Hyacinths"...depending on which area you live in! I think the botanical name for them is Muscari.
KIWI'S BACK!!! Good to see you, computer must be fixed.
I was out and about all day today (more on that later) and one place I was is a cousin's near Salmon Arm. She has these same cute wee plants so I asked what they are called and she said "Grape Hyacinths", then I come home and find your posts... lol. I am willing to bet these plants really are Grape Hyacinths, lol, and I look forward to having more of them as they spread out.
